How To Enter

Entries will open on April 10, 2024, giving you plenty of time to perfect your masterpiece and prepare for the ultimate showdown of skill and ingenuity. To join the ranks of Star Wars builders across the nation, simply follow these steps:

Submit your entries to (social@hobbyco.com.au) with the subject starting with “BSWB2024” and let your imagination soar. 
Your submission should include:
  • A photo or video showcasing your build,
    (ensure to name your files with your build title or your full name)
  • The title of your build
  • Your name 
  • Age 
  • Suburb and State 
  • Contact phone number

How to Win

Your entries will be proudly displayed on Hobbyco's social media pages. Encourage your family, friends, and colleagues to support your entry by liking, commenting, and sharing it. Each interaction (like, comment, or share) counts as a vote for your entry.


Announcement of Winners

The entries that get the most likes, comments, and shares in each category will win! Plus, the owner of Hobbyco, Big Mike himself will pick the grand prize winner.
We'll announce all the winners on May 4th, 2024!

  • 1st $300 Hobbyco dollars

Terms and conditions:

  • Must feature at least one Bandai Star Wars plastic model kit

  • Non Bandai products are allowed such as 3d printed parts and scratch built dioramas, as long as the prominent feature is the Star Wars kit.

  • By entering the competition, entrants consent to their content being shared on Hobbyco’s social media

  • Prizes not exchangeable or refundable

  • AI Generated imagery is strictly forbidden

  • Stolen imagery is strictly forbidden

Terms and Conditions:

Eligibility and Redemption:

    1. The promotion is open to customers of all ages. 
    2. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to enter the social media contest.
    3. Customers must be wearing their Star Wars character costume or outfit upon entering the store to be eligible for the discount offer. Star Wars masks are acceptable but must be worn during checkout to redeem the offer.
    4. If the customer is not in costume or mask at the point of purchase, the discount will not be applied.

Promotion Period

The offer and social media contest are valid on May 4th only, during store’s operating hours.

Discount Details

  1. Eligible customers will receive a 50% discount on any one (1) item, with a maximum discount value of $150. 
  2. The 50% off discount offer is limited to one (1) use per eligible customer and is not transferable between stores or redeemable at another time. Once claimed, the offer cannot be reused in any other store or at a different time. 
  3. The discount is applied to the original recommended retail price (RRP). If the item is already on sale, the discount will be calculated based on the original RRP, not the sale price. 
  4. The discount is applicable for in-store purchases only and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, discounts, or on previous purchases.
  5. The discount does not apply to gift card purchases, membership fees, and pre-orders.
  6. No further discounts, including Hobbyco Club discounts, are applicable with this offer.

Social Media Contest

  1. To enter, participants are encouraged to take a photo with our staff in-store while in Star Wars cosplay and post it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or TikTok with the hashtags #MayThe4thBeWithYou and #Hobbyco.
  2.  Multiple entries across the specified social media platforms are allowed. 
  3.  All entries will be considered collectively, and only one (1) winner will be selected from among all submissions, not one winner per platform.
  4.  The winner will be selected based on creativity and originality and will receive a $200 digital gift card.
  5.  The winner will be announced on our social media channels within 7 days after the event.

Photo Use Agreement

Participants who redeemed the discount offer and/ or entered the social media contest agree that Hobbyco may use their contest photos for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation. Hobbyco will use photos respectfully and in promotion of the store's interests.

General Conditions

  • By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

  • Hobbyco reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion and these T&Cs at any time without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
