1/18 Holden L34 Torana 1975 Bathurst 2nd Place (Bob Morris/Frank Gardner) (Limited Edition of 400)
For the 1975 Bathurst, Bob Morris in the Ron Hodgson backed L34 Torana was partnered with Frank Gardner. Gardner was able to claim fourth fastest in qualifying, only behind Bond, Morris and Brock. Off the starting grid, they didn’t take any rings and by the first driver change, Morris found himself in sixth position. Several drivers ahead were having issues that allowed Morris and Gardner to move into second position, before overtaking the then leader, Sampson. They held the lead for 17 laps before a slow pitstop put them back into second position. Nearing the end of the race, their pace was slowed with a brake issue and were forced to coast to the end of the race, finishing in second position.
