The Su-57 is a fifth-generation Russian multifunctional fighter aircraft developed by the P. O. Sukhoi Design Bureau. Compared to fighters of previous generations, it has a number of unique features, combining the functions of an attack aircraft and a fighter. The aircraft is designed to destroy all types of air targets, destroy enemy ground and surface targets, monitor airspace at large distances from the base, and destroy the enemy air control system.
