Product Description

Solvent-based acrylic paint. Mr. Clear Color GX is a paint series with improved quality of our best-selling Mr. Color. It features more vivid colors, excellent hiding power of the base color, and smoother and stronger coating film. We were able to produce this high-quality paint without the use of toluene.

Thinning ratio for Mr. Color GX

• Brush Painting - 1:0.8~1.0 (Mr. Color GX : Mr. Color Thinner)
• Airbrushing - 1:1~2 (Mr. Color GX : Mr. Color Thinner)
• Must only be thinned with Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner.
  Do not thin with thinner for aqueous hobby color and acrysion solvent.

Choose an appropriate thinner

• Mr. Color Thinner: The most basic thinner for Mr. Color 
• Mr. Leveling Thinner: Slows down the drying speed. Recommended for gloss paints. Recommended for airbrushing.
• Mr. Rapid Thinner: Speeds up the drying speed. Recommended for matt paints and metallic paints.
• Mr. Leveling Thinner or Mr. Rapid Thinner is recommended for Mr. Color GX series.

MIXING

Can be mixed with

• Mr. Color
• Mr. Metallic Color GX, Mr. Clear Color
• Mr. Color 40Th Anniversary, Mr. Crystal Color, Mr. Super Metallic
• Lascivus

Cannot be mixed with

• Aqueous Hobby Color
• Acrysion, Acrysion Base Colors
• Classy 'N Dressy Colors
• Mr. Metal Color

- Aqueous Hobby Color and Acrysion can be applied over a coat of Mr. Color GX.
- Mr. Color GX cannot be applied over a coat of Aqueous Hobby Color and Acrysion.

HOW TO APPLY Mr. COLOR GX

Apply 1 to 2 coats if painting with a paintbrush or 2 to 3 coats if airbrushing.

After applying a coat, let it dry for a few hours. After the first coat is completely dry, apply a second coat.

TIP!

• Use T114 Mr. Paint Remover to remove paint from a surface.
• Clean the tools with Mr. Color Thinner or Mr. Tool Cleaner.
• Mr. Hobby Topcoat and Super Clear can be applied over a coat of Mr. Color GX.
• Do a test paint before you apply paint on your model kit.

ATTENTION

• Put the lid back on after use.
• Store in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Made in Japan.
