Italeri - 1/32 Gladiators w/Quadriga

The practice of gladiator fights spread rapidly in Roman culture. Its origin is to be reconnected to the munus, that is, to the practice of the wealthier characters and in view of offering the public public performances for recurrences, parties and events. The emperor Vespasiano is responsible for the construction of the largest amphitheater in the world for gladiator games: the Colosseum. The use of wagons was also widespread, similar to those used for racing in the nearby Circus Maximus, used to make the shows even more compelling and heinous.
