C tracks are detailed lookalikes of real tracks laid on an embankment. The track height is 2.3mm. C tracks are part of an advanced model railway concept that allows complex track layouts. Any actuators are hidden under the embankment. Wiring uses snap-in connectors. Märklin has managed to combine easy handling (including the required child safety measures) with both natural-looking low-track heights and embankments. In short, tracks are designed for model railway purists.
