Physical Hobby Goods
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will send your goods via Australian Post normally within 3 working days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer. Please allow up to 8-10 working days for delivery. Goods are sent “Receipted” and require a signature on delivery.
If for reasons beyond our control items are not available, you will be contacted by email and or telephone and you may be offered an alternative product or your purchase will be refunded via Paypal at your choice.

Whilst HOBBYCO can guarantee the quality of the products it sells, we are unable to guarantee the skill or the workmanship you provide. Therefore the finished model of kits may vary greatly between customers based on their skill and level of experience.
We stress the need for instructions to be read thoroughly prior to commencing to assemble or operate any product. Failure to do so could void warranty.
Flying Models by their nature are light in construction otherwise they will not fly. During the learning phase such models or kites may crash. Damage incurred through impact in such situations is not considered warranty.
Customers purchasing radio controlled aircraft with fuel motors should contact their local club to see where the models can be flown and also seek help & instruction if this is a new hobby. Public Liability Insurance may also be required to operate this type of product. Hobbyco accepts no liability for customers who fail to seek advice and/or have adequate liability insurance for this activity.
Radio Control models & toys require battery power to operate. Some products use rechargeable batteries and come with a battery charger. Make sure the manufacturers instructions are followed reagarding the charging process. In particualr never leave batteries unattended while charging.

Availability of Product and Pre-orders
Hobbyco is a “Bricks and Mortar” retailer and items shown in stock are based on computer inventory records. Occasionally discrepancies occur because of theft, clerical error or other event beyond our control. We carry over 30 ,000 line items and it is impossible to maintain 100% accuracy.
If for reasons beyond our control items are not available, you will be contacted by email and or telephone and you may be offered an alternative product or your purchase will be refunded at your choice.
With regards to items showing “pre-order”, this could mean an item is temporarily out of stock or is a new release awaiting delivery in the next 1-4months.
If you add a pre-order item in with other items, it will be back ordered and supplied when it arrives with out any additional P&H costs.
Some hobby manufacturers are small “cottage” industries with limited resources, others represent companies who manufacture in batches. (Batch manufacturing is where the supplier makes enough for current orders,then starts accumulating orders for the next economical production run which may take months or longer). Pre-orders may be delayed till a batch is manufactured but sometimes they are cancelled completely.
New Releases also fall into pre-orders. Most suppliers announce new items at the start of each calendar year and progressively produce them. By pre-ordering a new release you insure an allocation and quick delivery once it is released. If you wish to cancel a pre-order, this can be done at any time prior to shipment with a complete refund.
Occasionally new releases may be internationally oversubcribed and we may not be allocated enough product to supply our pre-orders. In this event the item will be allocated in order of subscription, and items not fulfilled will be refunded via Paypal. Prices for Pre-order "New releases" are our best estimate and subject to change when the item becomes available. Any Pre-payment for these items will be considered as a deposit and the difference requested or refund made when the goods become available. Again if the actual amount is not acceptable, you can cancel your pre-order for a full refund.
