About the Role:
As the Store Manager you will have an experienced Retail background, with a passion for Hobbies. We are looking for someone that will lead from the front and offer exceptional customer service. 
Duties of the Role:
  • Create and ensure superior visual merchandising standards within the store
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and other KPI's while leading your team
  • Develop in depth product knowledge and foster this level of knowledge in your team
  • Contribute your energy and enthusiasm to a positive team environment
  • Be a brand ambassador for Hobbyco; embodying company culture and philosophy
  • Contribute to store specific social media content
Position requirements:
  • Strong Hobby knowledge will be highly regarded
  • Have proven previous Retail Store Management or 2IC experience
  • Self-motivated and willingness in meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to listen and use feedback constructively
  • Have strong communications and relationship building skills
  • Be energetic, positive, and creative in going above and beyond in assisting customers
  • Ability to multi - task and thrive in a retail environment
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales budget

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate person to join our team who appreciates the utmost importance of delivering the best customer service and who has a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills ideally you have worked in the Hobby, games or toy retail environment.
Responsibilities Required including, but not limited to:
  • Providing customer service to a level above and beyond what is expected
  • Offering customers total solutions for their needs
  • Replenishing stock. Setting up displays, promotions, and general merchandising
  • Maintaining the presentation of the store and service areas
  • Helping with administrative tasks
  • Contribute to store specific social media content 
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Deliver excellent one on one customer service experience
  • Proven interested in ongoing training, learning and development
  • Understanding of the importance of routine tasks and meeting deadlines
  • The ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with the customers

About Hobbyco Wholesale:

Most people know Hobbyco retail however most people don’t know Hobbyco has been distributers of international brands for Australian and New Zealand market since 1997. Today Hobbyco wholesale team have healthy stable of 22 brands which they represent with over 400 Wholesale customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We’re seeking an individual who is proactive, outgoing, friendly and results-focused. Ideally, you would have experience in wholesale sales and demonstrate your ability to build long-lasting customer relationships. We love working with people with an entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude and ‘customer first’ approach. Someone who is keen to jump on board and help grow with us. The ideal candidate would have a passion for anything Japanese Hobby related as they will be representing brands such as Bandai , Hasegawa , Asohima, Sparmax, Godhand and Mineshima.

To achieve designated sales targets, you must have a proven track record of the below:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Self-driven with strong communication skills
  • Presentation skills in Power point and or other platforms
  • Forecast and pipeline management
  • Understand the importance of being a trusted advisor
  • Ability to cold call potential new customers
  • Time management and ability to build strong relationship
  • Most importantly ability to close Sales Deals.
