Passion for Model Rail

• A genuine interest in railways or model railways is essential.
• Enthusiastic about the hobby and enjoys engaging with fellow enthusiasts, new modellers and families.

Product Knowledge

A basic understanding of model railways is preferred, including:

• Model railway scales
• DC and DCC control systems
• Two-rail and three-rail operation
• Electrofrog and Insulfrog points

Previous experience with model train servicing or repairs is desirable but not essential — additional product training will be provided.

Customer Service

• Friendly, approachable and confident when communicating with customers.
• Able to explain products clearly and patiently to people with different levels of experience.
• Committed to providing a consistently high standard of service.

Physical Requirements

You must be comfortable performing the regular physical duties of a retail role, including handling stock, using ladders and accessing display layouts when required.
