Hobbyco is seeking an enthusiastic retail manager and assistant manager with proven past experience to form a management duo at our upcoming Liverpool retail store. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to…

Ensuring store appearance and merchandising standards are met and exceeded
Maintaining consistent and effective communication amongst staff and senior management
Manage training of staff and ensuring quality of service
Customer service - Providing first rate assistance to customers in person and via email and phone.
Cleaning duties including vacuuming and surface cleaning
Receiving, sorting and shelving product deliveries
Picking and organising inter-store transfers


Expectations of the Role:
Develop in depth product knowledge and foster this level of knowledge with your team and our customers
Contribute your energy and enthusiasm to a positive team environment
Work with your team to meet and exceed sales targets


Position requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in retail as an assistant manager or above
Proven record of meeting KPIs with heavy emphasis on retail salesmanship
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Ability to multitask, prioritise and thrive in a dynamic retail environment
Ability to listen and use feedback constructively
Have strong communication and relationship building skills
Be energetic, positive and creative in assisting customers
Passion and knowledge of hobby merchandise beneficial

Do you have a love for all things hobby related? Hobbyco is seeking dedicated retail assistants with a passion for our products and a drive to succeed to join our retail team.

Customer service - Providing first rate assistance to customers in person and via email and phone.
Running cash registers
Cleaning duties including vacuuming and surface cleaning
Receiving, sorting and shelving product deliveries
Picking and organising inter-store transfers


Expectations of the Role:
