Why this aircraft matters
G-VBIG carried the name Tinker Belle and entered the Virgin Atlantic fleet in June 1996. It served for over 23 years and became one of the airline’s most iconic Jumbos. 

It flew long-haul routes from both London Heathrow and Gatwick. It connected the UK to destinations like New York, Orlando, and Barbados. On 22 November 2019, Tinker Belle made its final revenue flight. It then ferried to Kemble before being scrapped in 2020, marking the end of its career—and another chapter in the Jumbo era.

This model preserves a jet that symbolised style, performance and Virgin Atlantic’s elegance during the 747-400 years. It reflects both a passenger-era legacy and the graceful exit of a fleet icon.
