Herpa 1/200 French Air Force Escadron de Transport 1/61 Touraine BA 123 Orléans-Bricy "10 Years of A400M" F-RBAQ

Following a few setbacks and program delays, due mostly to the use of the then brand-new Europrop TP400 engine, the most powerful turboprop engine using a single propeller, the A400M Atlas was being handed over to the first air force unis in late 2013. To celebrate ten years of operations, the 1st Squadron of the 61st Wing at Orleans-Bricy commemorated the anniversary with the application of a special anniversary logo on the massive stabilizer on one of its transports, also adding the emblems of the units operating or supporting operations of the A400M within the French Air Force.
