Description
Just two months after its competitor Germanwings, Hapag-Lloyd Express was launched as the TUI Group's low-cost flight brand. With the advertising slogan "Flying for the price of a taxi" and the matching, very distinctive paintwork, it got off to a successful start. In addition to the 737, Fokker 100s in taxi look were also used. In 2007 HLX was merged with Hapagfly to form today's brand TUIfly.
