Classic Carlectables - 1/18 Ford XA Falcon Phase IV GT-HO
After the Supercar Scare, the big three Australian auto manufacturers cancelled the construction of their Bathurst Specials. Ford was in the later stage of building three Phase IV prototype racecars, only one of them was completed, the Moffat racecar 'XA-1'. The Ford Special Vehicle factory never finished the remaining 'XA-2' and 'XA-3" phase IV Falcons, but they did continue to have a life with new owners. Our model is based on XA-3, originally delivered to Max McLeod, the car remained unused and stripped of parts. XA-3 was eventually restored sourcing as many original parts as possible.
