Why this aircraft matters
ZK-NLP is a Saab 340A that flew for Air New Zealand Link’s regional arm, Air Nelson. It wore the classic NAD green-and-white livery that defined 1990s New Zealand regional travel.

The Saab 340A was key to keeping communities connected across New Zealand’s rugged landscape. It could land on short airstrips and serve routes that jets could not. ZK-NLP, serial number 340A-042, served from the mid-1990s until its Saab fleet ended in 2007.

This model captures more than an aircraft. It captures regional access, aviation utility, and a distinct era in Air New Zealand’s history.

How to use it:
Display it prominently on your desk, shelf, or within a diorama. Use the included stand to showcase it in-flight or pose it on the ground with landing gear down. No tools, glue, or paints are required; everything is factory-finished and ready to display.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
