Description
Ordered new for British Airways this 747 was painted in the controversial “Unity” scheme, this one with the Denmark tail. It was leased to QANTAS in late 2000 and wore this hybrid livery. In 2003 it was returned to BA and was eventually retired in 2009. It was often joked that the registration stood for “Never Leaves Hanger” as it was often down for maintenance.
