Herpa 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon No IX(B) Squadron RAF Lossiemouth "Batman" Agressor Scheme ZJ914 / WS-T

No IX Squadron was disbanded in 2019 after de-commissioning of its Tornado attack aircraft, was however immediately afterward re-formed at RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland as the first dedicated aggressor/adversary unit in the Royal Air Force. A part of its Tranche 1 Typhoons will be repainted into special color schemes and will operate as adversaries for training pilots in air-to-air combat. Due to the unit’s bat mascot, and the matt black overall color, the nickname “Batman scheme” quickly stuck.
