Description
The 500 series is a train developed by JR West for the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen line, characterized by a sharp and sleek shape reminiscent of an aircraft, and boasting a maximum speed of 300km/h in commercial operation.
In 2010, it retired from service on the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen Nozomi line, and is now converted to an 8-car formation and is in service on the Sanyo Shinkansen line.

- This product (cars 6, 7, 10, and 15) can be combined with product numbers 98363 and 98365 to recreate a full 16-car formation
