Description
Matilda MK I was an infantry tank ' its basic function was to support infantry. The tank's speed and manoeuvrability was sacrificed to increase its protection. Matilda's armor was formidable, but lack of a decent gun (the tank was armed with a machinegun) limited the tank's utility.
