Why this aircraft matters
PH-EZU carried KLM Cityhopper’s regional identity across Europe. It joined the fleet in March 2012, as their very first Embraer ERJ-190 100STD, serial number 19000522. It brought a new chapter in regional air travel.
The jet flew as part of KLM Cityhopper’s push to modernise its short-haul fleet. It served dozens of European destinations from Amsterdam. PH-EZU logged routes to cities such as Lyon, Warsaw and Basel, as recorded by frequent spotting reports.
In February 2024, PH-EZU completed its final KLM Cityhopper flight—AMS to WAW. It then left the fleet and later re-registered with Hop!
This model captures a moment of transition. It shows the rise of modern twin-engine regional jets. It marks a move from older types to more efficient design in European aviation.
You hold more than a miniature plane. You hold a piece of a fleet renewal. It represents regional flight reimagined.
How to use it
Set it prominently on your desk, shelf, or within a diorama. The included stand allows for a stunning in-flight angle. There’s no need for additional tools, glue, or paints—simply take it out of the box and enjoy.
This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
