The Subaru Sambar, designed by the engineer of the classic Subaru 360 Shinroku Momose, saw its debut in 1961. Its design was unique at the time, and its rear engine layout and 4-wheel drive provided a stable traction. With 6 generation of models, Sambar was produced until 2012. This kit replicates the late-model, 3rd generation K88 Sambar. The molds for this kit were designed and developed in the 1970s and may not be at the quality of replication in today's standards. However, the standard 10-inch steel wheels have been added in today's quality, as well as additional recreational parts (surfboard, boat and snorkel). With the additional parts, you are able to build the K88 Sambar to your preference.
