Description
In the mid-1950s, Chevy introduced its new V-8 engine with an overhead valve, commonly referred to as the "small-block" Chevy. These cars, which were equipped in the years '55 '57, became known as "Tri-Chevys". The 1957 is the most popular of all. The Bel Air version was the top model with additional functions and paneling that distinguished it. The rear tail units were a styling trend that celebrated the jet age.
