Among the Panzer IV tanks that supported the German army throughout World War II, the F type was the last model to be equipped with a short-barreled 7.5cm gun. In addition to improved protection compared to the previous model (E type), it also introduced wider tracks to accommodate the increased weight of the vehicle. 470 vehicles were produced from May 1941 to February 1942 and were mainly deployed on the Eastern Front and North Africa Front. Among them, the vehicles dispatched to North Africa tenaciously fought against heavily armored Allied tanks such as the British Matilda. He gained the trust of the soldiers.
