Why this kit matters
The BM-21 Hail is a legendary Soviet multiple rocket launcher, first introduced in the 1960s and still in use today by many armed forces worldwide. Mounted on a Ural-375D 6x6 truck, it can fire a devastating salvo of 40 rockets in under 20 seconds, making it a key asset in artillery operations.
This vehicle played a significant role in numerous conflicts, from the Yom Kippur War to more recent engagements. Its reliability and firepower have made it a symbol of Soviet and Russian artillery strength. Building this kit offers a hands-on connection to military history and engineering.
