Why this kit matters
The Sea Harrier FA2 was an updated version of the Royal Navy's Sea Harrier. It entered service in 1993 with improved air-to-air capabilities, weapons compatibility and a more powerful Pegasus Mk 106 engine. The FA2 also featured the Blue Vixen radar and could carry the AIM-120 AMRAAM missile.
The Sea Harrier was a naval short take-off and vertical landing aircraft developed from the Harrier family. The FA2 served with the Royal Navy until 2006 and also saw operational use during conflicts in Bosnia and the 1999 NATO campaign over Yugoslavia.
How to use it
