Why this kit matters
IJN Minegumo was a Kagerō-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy, designed for high-speed fleet operations. These destroyers played key roles in escort duties, anti-ship actions and night engagements during the early years of the Pacific War.
Ships of this class were known for strong torpedo armament and excellent seakeeping, making them effective in long-range naval operations. The Minegumo itself took part in several major Pacific campaigns before being lost during wartime action in 1943, reflecting the intense destroyer battles of the era.
How to use it
Build using paint, glue and modelling tools such as tweezers and a fine brush. Assemble hull sections, deck fittings and weapon systems step by step. Apply camouflage or grey naval paint schemes and add decals for hull markings. Mount on a base or include in a 1/700 fleet diorama display.
This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
