Why this kit matters
The Sukhoi T-50 was the prototype aircraft developed for Russia's PAK-FA programme, which aimed to create a new generation of advanced multirole fighter aircraft. The T-50 made its first flight on 29 January 2010 and was developed as the prototype for the aircraft that became known as the Su-57.
The T-50 featured a twin-engine configuration, advanced aerodynamic design and reduced radar visibility as part of its fifth-generation fighter requirements. Its distinctive shape makes it an interesting subject for modern aviation collections and 1/72 scale model displays. This Hobby Boss kit captures the early T-50 PAK-FA designation in a compact display-friendly scale.
