    Why this kit matters

The FV4005 Stage II was a British experimental tank destroyer developed in the 1950s. Built on a Centurion tank chassis, it mounted a powerful 183 mm gun designed to counter heavily armoured Soviet vehicles of the early Cold War period. The enormous turret and gun gave the vehicle a unique silhouette unlike any other British armoured design.

Only a prototype was completed, making the FV4005 Stage II one of the most unusual post-war armoured fighting vehicles. Its size and firepower were impressive, but the concept proved impractical for regular service. Today the surviving example is preserved in the United Kingdom and remains a favourite among armour enthusiasts. A 1/35 scale plastic model kit of this vehicle offers a bold addition to any military model collection.

    How to use it
