The HM6010 adds dedicated app-based accessory control to the Hornby HM | DC system. Each unit can control up to four accessories, while up to three HM6010 units can be paired to control up to 12 accessories from a phone or tablet.

Pair the HM6010 with the HM | DC app on a compatible phone or tablet, connect the required accessories, and provide power using a suitable transformer. Each HM6010 requires a separate transformer, which is sold separately. Hornby specifies Bluetooth 4.0 support, iOS 10 or later, or Android 8.0 Oreo or later, with at least 2GB RAM for the phone or tablet used with HM | DC.
