Description
Schleich - Okapi
The Okapi is a small forest giraffe. It has characteristic striped fur on its hindquarters which resembles a zebra. The Okapi lives in the African rainforest and eats leaves, fruits, ferns and mushrooms. The animals are very shy and were not discovered until 1890. They are listed as an endangered species.
