Tobu Railway 9000 series was manufactured as 9101 organization in 1981 as a vehicle developed for direct subway with Tojo Line. Tobu Railway's first stainless steel body, as a chopper controlled car, a figure with a curtain at the end of the side car with a 10-car penetration is different from a mass-produced car appearing later, it has a different appearance. The direct operation of the subway Yurakucho line began in 1987 and later the 9101 formation was remodeled in the same way as a mass-produced car, such as pantograph reduction and chopper control update, but the installation of a subway line's home door and ATO conversion Along with this, it is currently active as a ground car.
