Why this kit matters

The Horten Ho 229 was a revolutionary German jet-powered flying wing developed during World War II. Designed by the Horten brothers, it was the first pure flying wing powered by jet engines, aiming to achieve high speed and stealth capabilities. The aircraft’s advanced design influenced post-war aviation and inspired future stealth technology.

This 1/16 scale pilot figure represents the aircrew who would have flown the Ho 229, offering a unique addition to any Luftwaffe or WWII aircraft collection. The figure’s uniform and equipment are based on historical references, making it a valuable piece for modellers interested in aviation history and military uniforms.
