Why this car matters
The Holden HG Monaro was released on 26 July 1970 and was the final model of the original Monaro coupe design. The HG introduced revised styling, including a new grille, redesigned rear lights and distinctive Sidewinder stripes. The GTS 350 added black-out detailing, bonnet scoop treatment and GTS 350 decals.
The HG range produced 155,787 vehicles, including 14,437 Monaro GTS coupes. The Mediterranean Blue Metallic finish gives this 1/18 scale diecast model its specified presentation, while the detailed 350 V8, Houndstooth seats, fabric seat belts and etched metal details reflect key features of the original car.
How to use it
