The Boeing 747 has seen a star-studded life in the history books, being produced from 1969 until 2023, with a total of 1,574 being manufactured. Designed to carry hundreds of passengers across ranges up to 10,000 miles or more, the jumbo jet was intended to fill the role that hundreds of airlines begged for. More than a dozen variants of the 747 began to fill the skies in the coming decades, not to be stopped until nearly a quarter past the 21st century.

Designed as freighter, the Boeing 747-8F variant has an opening nose, with two decks that span across the entire fuselage. On the side of the body, there are upper and lower cargo doors which are used to load containers from the back simultaneously. Full cargo capacity totals up to 292,400 lbs,

The jet was powered by four Pratt and Whitney JT9D engines which propelled the up to 700,00 lb. airliner over more than 8,000 miles nonstop, with a cruising speed of 564 mph.

Operated by Atlas Air and Kuehne + Nagel in co-operation, this historic freighter is the second to last ever to roll off the production line. Based on tail number N862GT, this model version features a prominent Atlas/Kuehne paint scheme, engraved panel lines, and high-quality pad printed details. Features opened or closed cargo doors, optional retracted or deployed landing gear, and display stand, this interactive model lets you decide just how you want it set up! Measures 15”l with a 13.5“ wingspan at 1:200 scale.
