The Flying Tiger Line, named after the Flying Tigers of World War II, was an American scheduled airline and military charter operator in passenger and cargo. It was founded in June 1945 as National Skyway Freight and changed its name to The Flying Tiger Line In February 1947. Purchased by Federal Express in 1988 and ceased operations in August 1989.
