Why this aircraft matters

The Boeing 707 launched the jet age for long-haul travel.

VH-EAG marks the end of Qantas 707 operations, closing a chapter that reshaped international flying from Australia.

How to use it

Place it on a shelf, desk, or aviation cabinet.

Pair it with later Qantas widebodies to show how long-haul fleets changed over time.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
