Details
The Guard's stealth bomber, "Lindbergh's Own".
The Missouri Air National Guard's 131st Bomb Wing is the only Air National Guard unit to fly and maintain the B-2 Spirit, operating alongside the active-duty 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base. Its 110th Bomb Squadron, nicknamed "Lindbergh's Own" after its most famous member, the pilot of the first solo transatlantic flight in 1927, is the oldest unit in the Missouri Air National Guard, tracing its roots to 1917.
In August 2018, B-2 "Spirit of Nebraska" received Guard markings on its gear door, becoming the second B-2 in the inventory to carry them. Herpa models the aircraft in 1:200 scale.
