Why this aircraft matters

EC-MGT wore the “Cantabria Infinita” livery. It celebrated the Cantabria region of northern Spain. The design made it a flying icon of local pride.

This jet flew until January 2021. It operated Volotea’s final Boeing 717 flights, closing the chapter on Europe's last 717 operator. EC-MGT completed its last run from Turin to Palermo and was the last to be ferried to Venice before retirement.

That marked the end of a significant era. The 717 had powered Volotea’s growth from 2012 to 2021.

This model captures two rare moments: a striking regional design, and a farewell to a workhorse jet. You hold a symbol of heritage and an aviation milestone.

How to use it
Display it prominently on your desk or shelf, or use the stand for an in-flight appearance. The model is ready to showcase straight from the box with no glue or paints needed.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
