Why this aircraft matters

The SBD-3 Dauntless earned its reputation as the US Navy’s decisive dive bomber. During Operation Torch, Dauntless aircraft flew combat missions from USS Ranger, supporting Allied landings in North Africa. The scheme reflects that early carrier campaign in the Atlantic.

This aircraft marks a turning point in naval air power. Do you collect carrier aircraft or key World War II operations?

How to use it

Display it on a shelf, desk, or in a cabinet as a focal piece. Open the canopy and dive brakes to show the aircraft at rest on deck or between sorties.

Perfect for naval aviation historians, World War II collectors, and large scale aircraft displays, backed by Hobby Master’s focus on detailed and licensed replicas.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
