Why this kit matters

The Flakpanzer V Ausf.A, also known as the "Coelian," was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun project based on the Panther tank chassis during World War II. Designed to counter Allied air superiority, the Coelian featured a fully enclosed turret with twin 3.7 cm FlaK 44 guns. Although it never entered mass production, its design reflected the urgent need for mobile air defence on the battlefield.

This model kit captures the unique features and imposing presence of the Flakpanzer V Ausf.A, making it a fascinating subject for scale modellers and military history enthusiasts. Building this kit offers insight into late-war German armoured vehicle development and the challenges faced by engineers of the era.
