Why this kit matters
The Jagdtiger was Germany's heaviest operational tank destroyer of the Second World War. Based on the Tiger II chassis, it was designed to carry the powerful 12.8 cm anti-tank gun. Development began during 1943, with production taking place at the Nibelungenwerk factory in St. Valentin, Austria, from 1944 into 1945.
The Porsche Production version is particularly distinctive because of its suspension layout. The early vehicles used a Porsche-designed system with eight road wheels per side, while later Jagdtigers adopted the Henschel suspension with nine road wheels per side. Only a small number of Jagdtigers were completed with the Porsche system, making this version an interesting subject for a WWII military model collection.
How to use it
Build using modelling glue and paint. A model knife or cutters and other basic modelling tools are recommended for removing and preparing parts. Display proudly once finished, at home or in your collection cabinet.
This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
