Why this kit matters

The LGOC B-Type London Omnibus was one of the first mass-produced double-decker buses in the world, introduced in 1910 by the London General Omnibus Company. It quickly became a symbol of early 20th-century London, serving both as public transport and, during the First World War, as a troop carrier on the Western Front.

Building this model offers a glimpse into the engineering and design of a vehicle that shaped urban transport. The B-Type’s robust construction and distinctive appearance made it a favourite among Londoners and a lasting icon in British history. This kit is ideal for anyone interested in the evolution of public transport or the role of civilian vehicles in wartime.
