Why this kit matters

Prussian line infantry played a decisive role during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 to 1871, a conflict that reshaped Europe and led to the unification of Germany. Prussian forces were known for disciplined infantry formations, effective artillery support and strong staff planning.

The war saw major battles such as Sedan, where Prussian-led forces defeated the French Empire and captured Napoleon III. Uniform details from this period, including the pickelhaube helmet, became closely linked with Prussian military identity. A 1/35 scale plastic figure set of Prussian line infantry offers a strong historical subject from a conflict that changed European politics and military history.
