Why this kit matters

The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.D was an early version of the German Panzer IV tank, which served throughout World War II. The addition of Vorpanzer (additional frontal armor plates) was a field modification designed to improve the tank's protection against enemy fire. This modification reflects the evolving nature of armoured warfare and the constant effort to improve tank survivability. The Panzer IV was a mainstay of German armoured forces, participating in nearly every major campaign.

This model kit allows you to accurately depict a significant and historically accurate German tank with a notable field modification. The Vorpanzer armor plates make it a unique and eye-catching subject. Building this kit provides insight into the challenges of armoured warfare and the adaptations made to improve tank performance.
