Why this kit matters

The Special Operation Forces of Ukraine were formally established in 2016 as a separate branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Their role includes reconnaissance, sabotage, direct action, and strategic missions carried out in difficult conditions. These units are trained for rapid deployment and often work in small groups with advanced tactical equipment.

Since 2022, Ukrainian special forces have gained worldwide attention for precision operations behind enemy lines, reconnaissance missions, and defence of key territories. Their equipment often combines Western and locally supplied gear, making them distinct among modern military units. This figure set captures that modern appearance and gives modellers a current subject with strong historical relevance.
