Why this kit matters
The Russian T-90A is a modern main battle tank, first introduced in the early 2000s as an upgrade to the original T-90. It features advanced armour protection, a powerful 125mm smoothbore gun, and modern fire control systems. The T-90A has seen service with the Russian Army and several other countries, making it a significant vehicle in contemporary armoured warfare.
This tank is known for its blend of mobility, firepower, and protection, including the use of Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armour and the Shtora-1 countermeasures system. The T-90A has been widely exported and is a popular subject for military modellers due to its distinctive design and operational history.
