Why this kit matters

The StuG III Ausf.G was one of the most produced and effective German armoured vehicles of World War II. Designed as an assault gun, it played a key role on both the Eastern and Western fronts, providing infantry support and serving as a tank destroyer. The March 1943 Alkett production variant introduced several improvements, including a new gun mantlet and additional armour, making it a formidable presence on the battlefield.

This kit captures the unique features of the Alkett production run, including the winter tracks used during harsh conditions on the Eastern Front. Building this model offers a hands-on way to explore the engineering and history behind one of WWII’s most significant armoured vehicles, making it a rewarding project for hobbyists and history enthusiasts alike.
