Why this kit matters

The T28 Super Heavy Tank was developed by the United States during World War II as a breakthrough vehicle designed to breach heavy fortifications. Weighing nearly 95 tons, it featured massive armour and four tracks for improved mobility over rough terrain. Only two prototypes were built, making it one of the rarest tanks of the era.

The M28A1/A2 Super Assault Tank was a conceptual evolution, aiming to address the limitations of the T28 with improved firepower and mobility. While it never entered production, its design reflects the ambitious engineering efforts of the time. Building these models offers a unique insight into experimental armoured warfare and the challenges faced by tank designers during the 1940s.
