Why this kit matters

The 101st Airborne Division, known as the "Screaming Eagles," played a crucial role in the Normandy landings on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Parachuting behind enemy lines, these soldiers disrupted German defences, secured key objectives, and paved the way for the Allied advance. Their bravery and effectiveness became legendary, symbolising the courage and determination of Allied forces during World War II.

This model kit captures the distinctive uniforms, equipment, and spirit of the 101st Airborne during one of the most significant military operations in history. It offers a hands-on way to explore and appreciate the details of WWII paratrooper gear and tactics, making it a valuable addition to any military model collection or educational display.
