When assembled, the finished I-27 will measure 31cm long (a little over one foot).
Infamous for sinking the Allied steamship SS Khedive Ismail and subsequently being destroyed itself by British destroyers near the Maldives in 1944, the Japanese submarine I-27 is now coming from AFV Club as a fantastic 1/350-scale kit! Also famous for launching one of the midget subs that attacked Sydney Harbor in 1942, the I-27 can be modeled full-hull or waterline, and includes a very detailed Sydney attacker midget sub.
