Why this aircraft matters
JA07JC is one of Japan Air Commuter’s first ATR 42-600 turboprops, introduced in early 2017. It helped launch a new era of regional air service in southern Japan, including the Amami Islands.

The ATR 42-600 brought modern features to JAC. It added a glass cockpit, LED lighting, larger overhead bins, and improved comfort.

This aircraft kept communities connected. It flies from Kagoshima to islands with limited infrastructure. It made reliable, comfortable regional travel possible.

JA07JC also handled a tricky landing at Amami Airport in January 2020. Gusty crosswinds caused it to veer off the runway. No one was hurt. The aircraft returned to flight a month later.

You hold a model of a finely tuned regional aircraft. It stands for innovation, local access, sustainable efficiency, and operational resilience.

How to use it
Display it prominently on your desk, shelf, or diorama. The included stand allows for a dynamic in-flight angle. No tools, glue, or paints are needed; it arrives fully finished and ready for display.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
